Yea, I know….that seems to be how I must feel right?!  I’m telling you that I honestly forget I have one most often!  It’s sad really.  I wrap myself up so deep in my work that I honestly forget the day most of the time.  I am currently working, working, working to finish up as much as I can before our much needed and anticipated trip to JAMAICA!!!!  Aaaaaah yes, Jamaica…………. yea mon’, pina colada’s, beautiful ocean and all that!  I cannot begin to describe to you how excited we are to go on this week long trip.  Bags have been “mock” packed already and we don’t leave until July 3.  I know what you are thinking…………….boy they must really need a vacation!  You couldn’t be more right!  My amazing husband and I have not been on a real vacation together since 2007!!  That last trip was a super fun Vegas weekend that involved my super best friend’s wedding!  Ha!  It was SUPER!  ;)  Now, I went on 2 trips last year with family……I tried to get him to go with me but he just couldn’t take the time off.  SO, we are calling this our 2nd honeymoon.  We have only been married for 2 and 1/2 years but I plan to have a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th honeymoon………….Why the heck not right?!

Anyway!  Besides all of our trip preparation I have recently partnered with an amazing little boutique as their head catalog photographer.  www.cottoncandyshop.com is their website and if you like cute clothes and tutus for your kiddos, then this is the place to go!  I have already photographed 2 shoots for them and have had a blast!  The parents and cutie patootie models are amazing and have really welcomed me with open arms.  I know it was tough for many of them to lose one of their fave photographers but I feel great filling her shoes and feel like the parents have loved the pictures thus far.  MANY more shoots are on the schedule so get with me if you have a kiddo who would love to model for them.  The cost is extremely minimal and you get to keep the outfit that was custom made for your child as well as a CD of the best images fully edited along with a print release.  You can’t beat it anywhere!!

I am also working dilligently to finish editing the 3 large weddings I had in April.  All of my couples are AMAZING and so patient and understanding!  I am so lucky to have the best clients because they always become friends.  It really keeps this “job” a passion for me!

SO, I know many of you who know me well and are on Myspace know that my website is OH SO NOT UPDATED!!!!!!!  UGH!  This is such an annoyance and frustration for me.  My husband and I (my insanely brilliant web designer) are in the process of changing up my website so that I can go in on my own accord and update images any old time I please.  WELL, part of that change is going in to all of my images and sizing them just right and picking new images to add to the site as well.  My eyes practically cross when I think of the time I will need to do this.  SO, it has been my main focus to finish these weddings and as soon as I do you can bet that my website will be on the road to CURRENT!  If you are really as frustrated as I am with my non-updated website then please please please go to myspace.com/lisamichellephotography and look through my VERY updated albums.  It is so easy to add new albums there so that is where all of my newest work can be found.  You don’t even have to be my friend or have a myspace account to view those albums!!

Now….bedtime I think.  I am writing myself a note to be more blog minded and to write more….much more!  I love you all for keeping up with me…I know it’s not hard with my snails pace entries but thank you none the less.  You all make my world and I am so glad to have you taking the time to brush up on your Lisa Michelle Photography news.  =D
